Service Technicians are responsible for investigation problems with different types of motor vehicles and making repairs accordingly. Providing customer service, while communicating with the customer concerning their vehicle. Provides routine maintenance on motors and replacing parts to promote functionality.
Responsibilities:
- Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership.
- Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.
- Diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
- Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed. Providing an estimate of time needed for additional repairs
- Executing repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications
Qualifications
- 3 years’ experience in Automotive Repair required
- Strong automotive background
- ASE Certifications preferred
- Valid Driver's License
- Must have own tools'
Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- One to two years related experience and/or training.
