Position Summary:
This position is responsible for developing and managing retail banking relationships with a disciplined set of behaviors and actions aligned with new client development and lead generation. A focus will be on actively managing the relationships of clients to assist them in achieving their financial goals and ensuring exceptional customer service. This position will work with many bank products and services and will include taking loan applications, opening new accounts, and completing teller transactions. This person should be focused on not only meeting the financial goals of its customers, but also looking for additional financial needs and opportunities.
Responsibilities:
- Above all, ensures that exceptional customer service expectations are met consistently
- Assists the customer in meeting their financial goals
- Will focus on acquiring new relationships and expanding on current relationships
- Identifies cross selling opportunities (directly or through referral) including private banking, treasury management, wealth management and insurance services.
- Work toward deposit growth, loan growth, and fee revenue goals and expectations
- May take consumer loans from application process through close
- Keeps informed of all applicable rules, regulations, bank policy, audit and compliance procedures, to actively prevent risk to the bank
- Represents the bank in various civic and community functions to further enhance its image and develop additional business opportunities
- Adheres to the bank's Code of Ethics
