- Ensures that execution is aligned with target outcomes by working with the sponsor/stakeholders.
- Coordinates and facilitates the program routines -e.g.kick-off, status reviews, stakeholder meetings, change controls, tollgates, etc.
- Responsible to provide status updates to stakeholders and leadership pertaining to the target outcomes, delivery, risks/issues, and schedule.
- Responsible for leading a team to deliver technology products and services that meet business outcomes.
- Ensures people development through coaching, mentoring, feedback, and hands-on career development.
- Ensures technology solutions comply with applicable standards.
- This role advocates and advances modern, Agile solution delivery practices and evangelizes great design, engineering, and organizational practices.
- Accountable for team/program level resource and financial management
Required Skills and Experience we are Looking For:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering or Capital Markets related discipline.
- 10 years of design, software development and/or leadership experience in investment banking domain.
- Excellent knowledge of data management principles.
- Proven effectiveness in delivering technology in fast-paced, demanding, industry driven environment.
- Ability to collaborate seamlessly with cross-functional agile teams while building trust with senior leadership, design, product, and technology partners.
- Excellent communication and writing skills; ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management within the organization.
- Strong analytical skills which enable ability to problem solve, apply reason, take initiative, use judgment, and perform concurrent tasks.
- Must have excellent organizational skills and be able to handle multiple tasks
Desired Skills and Experience we are Looking For:
- Knowledge of Global Markets front, middle and back office domains, and their technology environments
- Banking / Capital Markets / Accounting domain knowledge.
- Experience working in an Agile environment
- Exposure to Front and Middle Office functions and controls
- Previous experience managing and tracking programs with > $1M budget.
- Advanced knowledge of Data Warehouse principles
- Experience with ETL technologies that store, transport and manipulate data.
- Advanced degree.
