Job Description:
Responsible for building and leading a team to deliver technology products and services that meet business outcomes. Ensures development of team through coaching, mentoring, feedback, and hands-on career development. Develops a technology strategy and ensures technology solutions comply with applicable standards. Advances modern, Agile solution delivery practices and evangelizes great design, engineering and organizational practices. Accountable for team level resource and financial management; builds and maintains teams through talent acquisition. Sets maturity objectives and enables individuals/teams to with training & resources to achieve them. Sets and tracks quality and performance objectives. Facilitates performance and career development of individuals through performance reviews, coaching, and building individual development plans that are needed to develop competencies and skills. Understands individual and team maturity and performance through team/client feedback. Manages relationships with business and technology partners. Accountable for solution delivery as relevant to their teams. Accountable to ensure all relevant risk, financial, and compliance polices and standards are met. Accountable for the application performance in production (app health, resiliency, performance, security, enterprise data management standards, audit exams and reviews). Creates an inclusive and healthy working environment, and helps to resolve organizational impediments/blockers. Leads and creates followership in Communities of Practice in the organization. Manages a team.
Position Summary
Production Services is responsible for running the day-to-day operations of the technology platform. Work activities specific to Production Services roles include Problem/Incident Management, Release/Deployment, Operational Readiness, Capacity/Availability Management, Application Monitoring, Service Analytics and Reporting, Production Governance, Triage, Associate Support, Change/Configuration Management, etc. The Senior Production Services Manager develops and sponsors tactics to achieve strategic objectives across functional groups or within a business group. Develops and implements programs, projects, or processes for a major segment of a complex function or a small diverse business. Provides technical leadership for work teams in specialized functional or process areas. They are also the escalation point for unresolved problems, complaints, and complex service requests. Key skill sets include consulting skills and conflict resolution, proactively drive innovative business solutions, and use technical, enterprise, and business knowledge to work across structures to meet customer needs.
Required Skills
- 10 years working in complex corporate systems with multi-level, large scale processing platforms and associated infrastructure
- Experience working across Lines of Business and sub-Lines of Business and working extensively with teams across the globe
- Experience in managing teams including staffing, performance management, and compensation decision-making
- Able to think abstractly and reduce complex issues and/or solutions to simplified, actionable tasks
- Work with minimal supervision and be effective in managing crisis and conflicts
- Excellent verbal, written and organizational skills
- ITIL certifications
Desired Skills
- 5-7 years of Management experience
- Previous experience in Commercial Banking enterprises and/or Payments Technologies
- Experience in Major Incident Management
