AVP Product Manager is a key contributor operating in a cross-functional product development team building software solutions Bank OZK. Responsible for overseeing day-to-day execution of the team in the development and delivery of new features and enhancements.
Essential Job Functions:
- Manages prioritization of development work and oversees day-to-day execution of the product development team following agile methodologies.
- Serves as a communication hub within product development team, driving alignment and clarity between different functions.
- Develops business requirements with input from product stakeholders and translates them into functional user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Gathers user feedback and evaluates enhancement requests to continuously improved the products.
- Manages the product roadmap and backlog for assigned products.
- Collaborates with DevOps, Quality Assurance, and Release Management teams to ensure smooth and well-documented releases.
- Provides post-development support by monitoring product performance and user adoption trends, converting issues and pain points into actionable enhancement opportunities.
- Regularly exercises discretion and judgment in the performance of essential job functions.
- Maintains good punctuality and attendance to work.
- Follows Bank policy, practice, and procedure.
- Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Knowledge of agile project methodologies, stakeholder management, feature writing and requirements definition.
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing, especially as it pertains to leading a cross-functional project team.
- Ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced, environment, and deliver quality work on time.
- Ability to demonstrate outstanding collaboration and partnership skills, in the spirit of driving to common goals.
