Job Posting for Fireplace Install Technician at Banker Insulation

Banker Insulation is currently searching for a Fireplace Install Technician for the Lake Havasu, AZ branch.

Duties:

  • Complete fireplace builds, installs, and services at commercial and residential sites
  • Driving and loading/unloading trucks
  • Assist with insulation installs when there are no fireplace work orders

Insulation installs include:

  • Installation or application of insulation materials such as fiberglass, rock wool, cellulose, and/or foam
  • Residential installation of fiberglass batts, blankets, and blown insulation in multi-story buildings/homes
  • Commercial installation of panels, sheet goods, fireproofing, acoustical and thermal batts, and spray-on insulation

Qualifications:

  • Ability to install (or learn how to install) various insulation and fireplace materials, and lift heavy materials (30-50 lbs.)
  • Prior construction, carpentry, and/or plumbing/gas service experience helpful
  • Ability to withstand exposure to heat, dust, and other weather/construction site conditions while working
  • Ability to climb ladders and scaffolds
  • Must have a valid driver's license, be at least 18 years old, and be authorized to work in the United States

Banker Insulation offers hourly paid training ($18/hour) and a piece rate/piece work pay plan after training.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

  • Construction: 1 year (Required)
