Treasury Operations Specialist

General Position Scope: The role of the Treasury Operations Specialist is to support the many areas of Treasury Management. This position requires extensive analytical skills and knowledge of the economy, finance, and accounting.  The is job will require regular communications with banking centers, knowledge of regulatory reporting, and the ability to work with large amounts of data.  Duties and Responsibilities: Works with Public Funds deposits: communicates and tracks bids for public funds deposits, monitors pledging requirements, complies with all required reporting to the state(s). Monitors and reports on pricing Assembles data to comply with Regulation F.  Monitors borrowing for the bank.  Supports the Treasury Management team with compiling reports for the monthly ALCO packet. Works with the Bank’s securities portfolio to ensure transactions are posted. Assembles data to adequately quantify liquidity risk. Contributes to modelling interest rate sensitivity.  Assists with all internal audit, external audit and regulatory exam requests.  Monitors funding positions.  Maintains a thorough knowledge of Bank products, services, policies, procedures, and appropriate regulatory issues as related to daily job functions including but not limited to: Bank Secrecy Act; Privacy Act; Fair Lending Act; Regulation E, etc. Completes required compliance training and adheres to the Bank’s standard of conduct. Assists the Director of Treasury Management as requested.  Participates in the bank’s High-Performance Rewards Connections program. Makes referrals to the Mortgage Center and Wealth Management. Performs other duties as requested.   Position Requirements: Six (6) years of similar or related experience and a High School Diploma; Four (4) years of similar or related experience and an Associate’s Degree; OR Two (2) years of similar or related experience and a Bachelor’s Degree  Experience in financial analysis, banking, or accounting preferred General computer and typing experience with Microsoft Office Suite, including extensive Excel skills  Excellent verbal and written communication skills  Extensive reading as needed  Ability to handle multiple tasks
