Demand Planner
As a member of our Demand Planning team, you will participate in all aspects of global demand planning for new and existing products. You will work to execute product demand plans to meet organization and customer needs. You will work cross functionally with departments, ranging from Supply Chain to Sales, to develop and communicate the most accurate operational demand plan and leverage CI tools to improve forecasting processes and accuracy. To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong passion and drive for data analytics.
This position reports to Product Life Cycle Director.
According to the FLSA (Fair Labor Standards Act), this position is classified as:

What You’ll Be Doing
- Collaborate and work effectively as a Production Planning team member taking project direction from Lead Demand Planner, Demand Planner Manager, and/or other senior Operations management leaders
- Collaborate with multiple disciplines throughout Banner such as with Business Unit product line managers, Sales, Sales Ops, Supply Chain, and other Production Planning team members
- Conduct, analyze, and provide summaries regarding situational component shortage reviews as necessary input for key production evaluations and other operational planning purposes
- Analyze and assess "What If?" Sales Opportunity scenarios to determine impact of timing, supply chain, manufacturing capacity, and delivery to meet customer expectations
- Learn the functionality and navigation of Banner's Demand Planning & Forecasting platform from GAINSystems
- Incorporate and enter various baseline and miscellaneous forecast types directly into the demand planning system
- When GAINS’ developers implement changes, ensure the feature(s) is/are performing as designed and does not create a conflict anywhere else within the system
- Ability to run Queries and Reports to investigate and extract relevant business data upon request
- Learn data flow between GAINSystems, Oracle EBS/ASCP, and QlikSense BI platforms to understand forecast inputs and their related outputs
- Other duties as assigned.

Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Operations, Marketing, Sales, Business Administration, or related field
- 0-3 years of relevant experience with Demand Planning, Production, Supply Chain, Product Marketing or similar
- Strong passion and drive for data analytics
- Ability to work independently or as a team
Preferred Experience with related platforms
- Experience with Oracle EBS
- GAINSystems Demand Planning, Supply Chain Planning, and Management Software
- Adobe WorkFront or other Project Management software package
- Business Intelligence tools such as QlikSense, QlikView, or Power BI
- Strong experience with Microsoft Office products, especially Excel
- Experience with Salesforce.com
