Survey Assistant

• The applicant must be self-motivated and highly dedicated. A friendly can-do attitude is a requirement of the job.
• As a Survey Assistant, applicants will be expected to handle equipment as directed, call out readings, write field notes, mark distances, use measuring devices, and perform other tasks as needed (some of which are further described below).
• Applicants should be able to perform a variety of physical job duties, such as clearing brush, setting construction stakes and iron rods, loading and unloading surveying equipment and supplies, carrying surveying equipment and supplies, etc.
• As a Survey Assistant, applicants will report directly to their assigned Survey Crew Chief and travel to the job site as part of a team.
• Applicants must have a current Texas driver’s license and must be insurable on the company automobile insurance policy. From time to time, applicants will be required to drive company truck to/from jobsite.
• The applicant MUST be able to pass a background check and drug screen.
• Compensation will be negotiated based on the applicant's experience and qualifications.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $14.00 - $17.00 per hour
