Performs various MRI procedures that require independent judgment and ingenuity. Special positioning of anatomical parts and determines type of procedure to be done with or without contrast media.  Responsible for MRI safety, “Standard of Care”, policies, and procedures.

 

 

Associate in Applied Science or Diploma from an accredited program of Radiology required. Must be registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT).  ARRT for MRI preferred. BLS required.  EXPERIENCE:  1 year or more experience as an MRI Technologist preferred.  In the absence of an experienced MRI technologist, a Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist will be considered, and extensive cross-training in MRI will be required to attain competency
