Job Description:
Reviews all insurance payments for hospital services and records the required information to ensure payments are posted timely and accurately. Makes sure all overpayments are refunded to the appropriate carrier or guarantor in a timely manner. Demonstrates a working knowledge of patient accounting procedures and works in accordance with established procedures relative to the duties associated with the position.
High school education or GED is required. Ability to access and use computer billing programs is required.
