Qualifications:
MINIMUM EDUCATION: Graduate of an accredited college or university. Graduate professional degree from an accredited theological school. Four quarters of certified Clinical Pastoral Education through ACPE, Inc., or NACC.
PREFERRED EDUCATION: Master of Divinity degree from an accredited theological school. One year residency from an accredited ACPE center
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: Pastoral and/or chaplaincy experience of two (2) years.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: Clinical pastoral experience of two (2) years
REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURE: Eligible for APC or Cognate group endorsement. Ecclesiastical endorsement
PREFERRED CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURE: Certification by the Association of Professional Chaplains or it’s affiliate cognate group. Ecclesiastical endorsement by faith group. Ordained by faith group.
