Seeking Charge RN!Baptist Health Floyd, 2C Neuro Progressive Care UnitPart-time (24 Hours/Week), Days (7am-7pm)No Weekend Requirement! Self-Scheduling!Sign on Bonus Eligible for External Candidates Only!Job Duties: In this role, the Charge RN is responsible for acting as a resource nurse for the department. This is an entry-level leadership position responsible for the coordination of care on designated shifts. He/she will provide leadership to the staff members of the unit in the area of patient care. This position will work alongside the team and provide direct patient care while determining needed staffing fluctuations during shifts, responding to departmental concerns, address immediate staff issues and coordinate patient flow. This position has immediate oversight of employees while performing the same or directly related work as those the position leads.About the Unit:2C Neuro/Progressive Unit is a 12-bed Neuro specific progressive care unit that is committed to the patients we serve. Nurses will care for a defined patient population and serve as part of a team. We have 24/7 Charge Nurse and Clinical Coordinator and Stroke Coordinator support.Position/Opportunity Highlights:

- Graduate of approved nursing program
- Current Indiana NursingLicense
- BLS for Healthcare Provider required from a provider required
- ACLS for Healthcare Provider required within 6 months of hire.
- NIHSS certification within 6 months of hire.
- Previous nursing experience that has provided opportunities to refine competencies in nursing practice
