Summary
The Talent Acquisition Specialist will report to the Vice President of Human Resources with responsibilities for recruitment and talent acquisition efforts, for the day-to-day employment life cycle events. The Human Resource Specialist will provide professional, technical and administrative expertise to ensure the effective operations of the Human Resources function, and assure compliance with policy, local, state and federal employment related laws and regulations, and the achievement of organizational goals in the area of Human Resources.
Human Resources
Assisting with, employee life cycle administration that will include entry of new hires, status changes, rate changes, etc. into HRIS (ADP)
Assist with new hire onboarding.
Assist with providing support to employees in various HR-related topics.
Assist with regulatory related reporting.
Assist with Administration of unemployment claims received.
Maintaining personnel file compliance
Position will be involved with (New Employee Experience, providing follow-up regarding unemployment compensation claims, etc.).
Assist with creating onboarding plans.
Educating newly hired employees on established Human Resource procedures.
Recruitment
Recruitment efforts that will include development of partnerships within the community, surrounding colleges, professional and social organizations.
Work with hiring mangers regarding open positions.
Involved with recruitment meetings with hiring managers.
Assist with recruitment efforts.
Assist with the marketing strategy for recruitment platforms.
Compiles recruitment statistics, vacancies, and hiring timelines.
Responsible for employment practices such as job postings and advertising for regulatory purposes.
Responsible for monthly overall Recruitment Statistics reporting to the Vice President of Human Resources
Plans, organizes, implements and evaluates employment and placement activities to achieve the established goals and objectives for the Department of Human Resources
Auditing invoices as required and working with vendors to rectify issues.
Training
Assisting with managing the LMS (Relias) Platform
Assisting Maintaining curriculum compliance
Assisting in working closely with The Vice President of Human Resources in developing Training plans.
Assisting in holding LMS refresher monthly trainings.
Qualification’s
Bachelor’s degree, or years of experience will be taken into consideration.
Experience
2 or more years in recruitment
Experience with automative and innovative recruitment efforts.
Experience building community partnerships to create workforce pipeline.
