DIRECTOR OF MANUFACTURING
Watch over and organize the daily operations of manufacturing plant, maintenance, sanitations activities, plant inventory, food safety, security and quality assurance while ensuring environmental and corporate policies and legal regulations, following ever the principles and values of Barcel USA.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Ensure compliance with the standards established by Grupo Bimbo to control operations.
- Defining and specifying activities, processes, and standards to fulfill the quality requirements for a manufactured product
- Auditing, monitoring, and determining the quality of processes regulatory standards
- Product integrity testing, coloring, fitting and pattern and wet processing to ensure orders are in compliance with customers' quality requirements
- Achieving product profitability, in an atmosphere of productivity, production innovation, flexibility, sustainability, food safety and security.
- Reporting on process deviations and defects
- Establishes and implements strategies that have mid to long-term (3-5 years) impact on business results in alignment with parent organization objectives
- Leads multiple teams of managers and supervisors
- Participate in the planning of tactical objectives, projects, budget preparation and investment spending.
- Promote and analyze the feasibility of the best practices for implementation and documentation in plant.
- Managing and planning the resources of the plant, from the supply of materials to the delivery of finished product, producing with quality, quantity and ever on time.
- Ensure compliance with the supply to the manufacturing process.
- Monitor the product quality and take corrective and preventive actions to improve the product.
- Implement and monitor systems to ensure compliance with quality standards in all products.
- Monitor the indicators to review the evolution of plant performance.
- Make the Production Plan since the Sales Forecast given by Supply Chain.
- Maintain a healthy work environment in the different functional areas of the plant.
- Develop personnel under his responsibility through talent management system: personnel evaluations, closing gaps, monitor work plans, among others.
- Participate in market visits to monitor the performance of the products.
- Follow up to the customer complaints system and ensure the implementation of corrective actions.
- Ensure the existence and maintenance of crisis management system at the plant.
- Follow up audits and internal certificates on sustainable processes.
- Implement and monitor continuous improvement systems.
- Promote the identification and replication of best operational practices to reduce costs.
- Evaluate projects to increase productivity.

- Bachelor's degree Administration, Operations
- MBA desirable
Experience
- 5-12 years management experience in all aspects of snacks industry or relevant responsibilities in comparable industry.
- Experience managing people (5 years)
- Proven track record of effective leadership including people development.

Salary : $93,300 - $118,000
