The Raw Materials Manager is to plan and forecast material needs for production. Ensuring supplies comply with current regulations and quality specifications in order to guarantee availability and effective allocation of inventory and materials in raw material warehouse. Ensure the control of our internal system to promote a controlled audit able environment. Duties and responsibilities. This position must work closely with Suppliers, Strategic Sourcing, Business Management Teams, Production Facilities, Marketing, and other cross functional team members.

• Ensuring the compliance of GMP’s, 5’s, safety, OSHA, HACCP and FSMA in the raw materials area.
• Supervises, assists in hiring, training, evaluation, and disciplining associates.
• Plans, organizes, and implements inventory operations and procedures; supervises Physical Inventory Count weekly
• Reviews daily inventory activity; maintains accurate inventory master files, manufacturer and catalog numbers, minimums and material descriptions.
• Remains current on new and obsolete materials. Maintains adequate levels of inventory stock.
• Organizes and maintains raw materials area for efficient material storage and handling, including labeling, stocking and organizing stock items on shelving.
• Complies with all aspects of food safety and quality and GMPs procedures established by Barcel USA.
• Organizing the shifts and delegating work to subordinates.
• Verifying received materials with the invoice orders and ensure the upload of invoices in ORACLE and WMS.
• Synchronizing with suppliers on the subject of the shipments and delivery of orders.
• Ensuring the compliance of all legal and completion of necessary paperwork for the receipt of goods.
• Coordinating activities with the purchase department of the organization.
• Ensures that production is supply with all necessary raw materials on the daily basis
• Coordinating and maintaining inventories accuracy of raw materials

Job Qualifications

Qualifications include:
Minimum education requirement, Bachelor's Degree from an accredited four-year college or university.  Accounting, Engineering, BS in Packaging Science, Chemical, Mechanical, Plastics Engineering or equivalent.

• 2 – 3 years of experience in warehouse and logistics management; 1-3 years of  experience in Research and Development or Packaging Development, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience in the food industry, preferred.
