As ADA Coordinator at Barclays, you will ensure compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and other applicable laws by leading, managing, and directing change efforts for Barclaycard US. This is an exciting opportunity to act as the Bank’s point of contact for consumers and manage inquiries including calls, emails, and correspondence to assist with reasonable accommodations. This role will provide consistent oversight, accountability and drive required to support regulatory compliance across multiple business areas.

What will you be doing?
- You will be responsible for enterprise management of ADA requirements and expectations as well as ensuring consistency of conformance across all of BCUS
- Identifying and continually developing reasonable accommodations offered to those who have requested alternatives based on their disability and individual needs
- Identifying and driving changes throughout the organization to enhance accommodations
- Serving as the key business owner of strategies, standards and procedures related to our customer/client needs as related to Americans with Disabilities Act
- Engaging with multiple Technology, Risk, Operations, Strategy and Compliance stakeholders to provide a single point of contact
- Ensuring bank wide compliance with ADA and all applicable federal, state and local laws relating to accessibility for people with disabilities
- Collaborating with internal and external partners to incorporate ADA policies, strategies, standards and procedures to ensure the bank is compliant with the regulatory expectations
- Liaising between BCUS and external customers to ensure accessibility options are available and continually improved as technology advancement/ease of access are discovered
What we’re looking for:
- Financial services experience required (1-3 years)
- Understanding of Regulatory/Compliance related initiatives (1-3 years)
- Experience with Process Management (1-3 years)
- Successful interaction and productive delivery with both internal and external Auditors (1-3 years)

- Project Management skills (1-3 years)
- Information Management, presentation and documentation skills (3-5 years)
