As a Barclays Client Management Process, Controls & Governance, you will be accountable for reviewing the transactional closing, booking and long term asset management of a portfolio of both investment grade and non-investment grade loan transactions. You will have the opportunity to look to develop agile and lean ideas that will help senior members of the team as well as the wider Operations group to improve efficiency and productivity as a whole.

What will you be doing?
- Actively reviewing the processes associated with daily Client Management workflow for loan transactions to identify areas of improved efficiencies
- Exercising oversight on development and maintenance of the Client Management standard operating procedures to ensure inventory is current and in-line with designated controls
- Managing and developing KRIs/KPIs to monitor departments performance and provide monthly reporting
- Reviewing legal loan documentation and ensure it meets operational requirements where applicable for agented and participation transactions
- Facilitating internal controls assessments and support external audit exercises to ensure accurate data and appropriate engagement is provided
- Managing the associated closing process utilizing internal systems and checklists to complete the setup of a transaction profile
- Undertaking and adhere to all compliance requirements and internal policies applicable to this role
- Validating all borrowing notices, incumbency certificates, funds flows, perform wire call-backs to fund
What we’re looking for:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Five years of experience in loan operations
- Five years of banking/finance industry experience
- Capability to review and understand loan documentation and lending transactions
Skills that will help you in the role:
- Ability to review legal loan documentation and ensure it meets operational requirements for agented and participation transactions
- Capability to review and understand loan documentation, the Letter of credit product and lending transaction
- Ability to work very independently and take full ownership of defined tasks and be resourceful to address question
