What will you be doing?

•    On behalf of a global financial services organization, participate in IT production support activities for US Consumer Bank Cards Platform business.
•    Collate data for proactive Service improvement initiatives including trending of incidents, root causes, and MI reports using Java, SOAP, Python, Autosys, and AWS.    
•    Reduce adverse impact of incidents and problems caused by errors within the IT infrastructure and prevent the recurrence of incidents related to these errors.
•    Provide end-to-end review of the portfolio’s IT services to fulfill business demands and service level agreements (SLA’s), and provide end-to-end service management comprising of technical audits, resilience management, configuration management, and ITIL practices.
•    Perform incident triage, take ownership of escalations, and perform troubleshooting.
•    Create, maintain, and document IT tools and automation for handling system state and operational excellence across a complex global infrastructure.
•    Design, implement and maintain monitoring to provide complete transparency to application and system state, history, and trends.
•    Develop IT monitoring solutions across the front end, WebAPI, services, and database layer using APM Tools such as AppDynamics, Splunk, and EsaaS Kibana. 
•    Participate in troubleshooting and fixing application failures, application performance degradation, code debugging, batch failure, hardware and network failures.
•    Use programming and query skills to research analysis on root causes and perform resolutions.
•    Review and automate tasks including frequent batch failure using TWS and reporting requirements.
•    Navigate clients through discovery and requirements phases to discuss RESTful web service and API solutions.
•    Design tools, create runbooks, and work with operations staff to ensure understanding of 24x7 site-up services for the application portfolio.
•    Participate in cloud-based patching, draining, resilience activities and ensure the service is available for operation. 
•    Use various technologies including Java, Oracle, SQL and PL/SQL, Unix shell scripting, AutoSys, Ab Initio, Bit Bucket, and Service Now, to carry out the job duties.

What we’re looking for:

Requires minimum of Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field and at least five (5) years of post-baccalaureate progressive experience in the position offered or as a Technology/Systems Analyst, Technology Lead, or related role. 

Five (5) years of experience required with each of the following skills: 

•    Working on Incident Management, Problem Management, Change Management, Release Management as per ITIL guidelines; 
•    Providing support for financial applications during production outages, errors and network failures; and 
•    Working with technologies including SDLC, Agile, Scrum, JIRA, ITIL, Java, J2EE, Spring, SQL, Oracle, Web Services (SOAP, REST), Eclipse, HTML, XML, SFTP, PuTTy, WINSCP, Confluence, SPLUNK, Apache Tomcat, Service Now, Unix/Linux, IBM WebSphere, Microsoft IIS Server, Autosys. 

Two (2) years of experience required with each of the following skills: 

•    Participating in project stakeholders meetings to understand business requirements and identify systems and technology requirements; 
•    Using distributed technologies to design and develop technical solutions on secure client network; and 
•    Creating disaster recovery scripts (Business Continuity Plan) and executing the same to perform application availability and functional checks during Disaster Recovery and other infrastructure changes.

Salary : $106,000 - $134,000
