METRICS TEAM ANALYST
As a Barclays Metrics Team Analyst, you will be responsible for supporting the individual functions of the US Consumer Bank Operations with robust reporting suite to help aide in making key business decisions quickly. The role will specialize in transforming and modernizing the visual reporting catalogue, follow business standards for production reporting and the automation/migration of legacy reporting into Tableau (where applicable).

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?
Supporting the Analytics function in delivering insight to support the strategy and direction of the USCB Operations teams
Creating data standards and synergies across business functions to reduce manual overhead and duplicity of the same data across multiple reports
- Working closely with technology and business partners to roll out new functionality and enhance overall data architecture
- Exploring production automation opportunities across Operational areas including: Fraud, Collections, Virtual Channels, Ops Rigour and QAor Fraud, Care, Collections etc.
- Using the opportunities found to support reduction in manual processes
- Executing on reporting requests to help aide in operational controls or processes to help with efficiency and oversight across Operations
- Working with key stakeholders on opportunities to streamline, productionalize and consolidate operational reporting
- Assessing and communicating the risks to Departmental Leadership to ensure that project goals and objectives are being met
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:
BS/BA degree in Engineering, Sciences, Finance, Economics or other quantitatively focused subject
Extensive SAS, SQL, Python, Alteryx or AWS analytic product experience and working in an complex data infrastructure
- Proven track record of delivering appropriate reporting/outputs in a fast-paced environment
- Proven performance in a similar field and scope of responsibility; 2-3 years’ experience
SKILLS THAT WILL HELP YOU IN THE ROLE:
Tableau/Micro-Strategy/Microsoft Power BI/Data Stage (or similar) expertise preferred
Demonstrated skills and experience with data tools – ability to link operational performance with company business results
- Experience with AWS-based data services: RedShift, Athena (or similar experience)
- Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills
