As a Barclays Municipals Banking Analyst on our Financial team you will have the opportunity to gain a broad understanding of the Public Finance Investment Banking business by providing cross-functional assistance to senior bankers. This is an exciting chance to help source new opportunities and also participate actively in municipal transactions for our client base which consists of state and local governments, healthcare systems, universities, and non-profit organizations nationwide.
Salary / Rate Minimum: $ 110,000.00
Salary / Rate Maximum: $ 125,000.00

What will you be doing?
* Developing and evaluating debt profiles of various clients
* Performing and supporting financial modeling and cash flow analyses to evaluate debt financing alternatives for municipal entities
* Drafting internal and external correspondence and client presentation materials discussing financing strategies, market trends, Barclays' qualifications, etc
* Gathering, analyzing, and presenting financial data (e.g. government budgets and financial reports, economic/ market data, financial forecasts, pricing results, etc.)
* Researching and understanding legislative, market, or other developments relevant to our municipal clients
* Handling Transaction execution, including managing deal logistics, running cash flows, investor and rating agency presentations, and reviewing financing documents
What we're looking for:
* Bachelor's Degree
* Related work experience and a demonstrated interest in public policy
* Significant understanding an experience in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
* Solid written and verbal communication, organization, time-management skills, and attention to detail
Skills that will help you in the role:
* Series 7, 52, and 63
* Experience within a Banking or Municipals business
Where will you be working?
You will be working at our Americas Headquarters at 745 Seventh Avenue. This 37-story office tower is located in Times Square in the heart of Manhattan and features a cafeteria, fitness center and state-of-the-art LED signage on the facade of the building.
