As a Barclays Service Manager, you will be an expert in the features, benefits and capabilities of the service that they manage, and understand how they meet the needs of current and future colleagues. Service Management spans a number of services including Desktop, Collaboration tools and Rich Media products. The service level manager is also responsible for the performance, risk, cost and continual service improvement of the service / product, raising the awareness amongst our colleagues and stakeholders whilst improving quality of the end to end service. They are also responsible for the end to end aggregation of all service components to ensure service levels meet the desired business outcome, as defined in the Service catalogue.

What will you be doing?
- Managing all aspects of Service Management Framework (listed below in Essential qualifications section) enhancing the quality of the Services provided to colleagues.
- Leading and manage service analysts
- Acting as a principal point of business contact
- Managing Escalations
- Coordinating with component teams to drive Continuous service improvements
- Managing end to end cost, risk and performance of the service
- You will be responsible for ensuring compliance to Standards & Policies.
What we’re looking for:
- ITIL foundation certificate and service related topics (Service Level Management, Continuous Service Improvement, Service Strategy etc.)
- Experience of working in a global organisation preferably spanning infrastructure, applications and/or operational environments.
- Experience of end user and collaboration technologies
Skills that will help you in the role:
- Awareness of Barclay’s processes and general organization structure.
- ITIL Foundation Certified
- MS Office and Excel proficient
