What will you be doing?

• On behalf of a global financial services organization, develop, create, and modify general computer applications software and specialized utility programs.
• Analyze user needs and develop software solutions.
• Responsible for architecture and development of framework and products to handle a large volume of data.
• Integrate of multiple applications and interfaces/frameworks to build robust system for high performance.
• Batch processing system design and development to handle large volume of data including legacy batch, spring batch framework, and cloud.
• Functional and Technical understanding of system and business requirements.
• Mentor and provide technical guidance to team members across the organization.
• Integrate the new requirements in current application/system framework without impacting existing business functionalities.
• Perform end-to-end implementation of frameworks and standards with SDLC and Code quality assurance.
• Prepare the design and conceptual approach document for framework, standards, which are subsequently shared with entire team across organization.
• Conduct design review, code review, unit test plan, and test results with team members across organization to drive for test driven development.
• Lead the design and development on the working model for Data Journey to Cloud.
• Provide the strategic path to cost optimization and path forward for organization to consume open source tools and products as required.
• Manage technical resources and guide them for deliverables on the frameworks/enablement for the organization.

What we’re looking for:

Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, or a related field and at least 5 years of post-baccalaureate progressively responsible experience as a Software Engineer or related occupation.

Must have at least five (5) years of progressively responsible employment experience
with each of the following required skills:

• Database development including performance turning and handling large volume of data;
• Integration of multiple applications and interfaces to build robust system for high performance;
• Batch processing system design and development to handle huge volume of data including legacy batch, spring batch framework;
• Scheduling batch process using control-M;
• Code migrations and repositories using GitHub;
• Data Modeling experience with tools like Power Designer;
• Unit and Deployments including Bamboo, Jenkins, Nexus;
• Restful API integration for new products;
• Tools including Hadoop, Teradata, Informatica, IBM ILOG, and BLAZE.
