Job Description:
Bard Manufacturing Company, Inc., a leading manufacturer of commercial heating and air conditioning systems, has an opening for a Supplier Quality Administration at our corporate office in Bryan, OH.

Scope and Responsibilities:
The Supplier Quality Administration is responsible for assessing and handling supplier quality issues and supporting the continual evaluation and assessment of raw material and MRO suppliers.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Distribute non-conforming material reports to suppliers and follow through to completion

Execute the requirements of the Supplier Quality Management Program

Create and distribute supplier scorecards per program guidelines

Communicate with suppliers regularly to address any concerns and foster an environment that facilitates continual improvement in working relationships

Conduct supplier quality control audits on a regular basis to ensure suppliers remain in compliance with company and federal manufacturing and production standards

Perform Supplier Approval Process for new suppliers

Maintain the Approved Supplier List

Maintain supplier compliance with established quality, environmental, and compliance requirements

Work with numerous cross-functional team members to support product development, supplier quality, projects, and continuous improvements

Support purchasing strategies to achieve Quality, Cost, and Delivery (QCD) performance objectives to improve operational profitability

Carry out advanced data collection and analysis for improvement

Ensure the development and achievement of quality objectives commensurate with Bard’s quality policy, which assures continued ISO certification

Responsible for researching, recommending, planning and implementing system and process improvements

Work on multiple assignments that are complex in nature where judgement is required in resolving problems

Ability to learn and understand technical details as they relate to different materials utilized in the construction of Bard products

Design, create and manipulate presentations, spreadsheets, reports, documents, communication, and other material as needed

Experience and Skills:
The successful candidate will possess the following skills and abilities:
- Associate Degree in business, Engineering, or related field
-
3-5 years of quality-related work experience
-
Claim handling process, handling nonconformities, root cause analysis & toolbox (4-steps, 8D, Pareto Analysis, check-sheets, cause & effect, diagram, graphs, 5-why analysis)

Change products & process (PFMEA, CP, MSA, SPC, Capability Study, Manufacturing Process)
-
Handling waivers and concessions process.

QMS & QMS processes and manufacturing processes.
-
SAP QM Module, SAO, SIR and Measurement equipment
-
Gage calibration, GD&T and Specific Calibration software
-
Knowledge with continuous improvement, six sigma, lean a plus, but not required.

Strong written and oral communication skills

Excellent organizational skills

Attention to detail a must.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Proficiency in MS Word, Excel and Outlook

Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
