Barefoot Dance Studios is looking for a motivated and qualified teacher to potentially add to our year round teaching faculty. Pay:

- Pay is dependent on experience. $22-$50/hr

- Professional development assistance

Experience:

• Dance Teaching or Performing Experience : 1-3 years (Preferred)
• Seeking candidates with reputable certifications or degrees in the industry
• Experience/Certifications in Acrobatics and Hip Hop is a plus!

Qualifications:

- Strong knowledge and proficiency in various studio dance styles and techniques

- Experience working with students in a classroom or instructional setting

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Experience training and performing proper dance techniques

- Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of individual students

- Patience and enthusiasm for working with children and young adults

- Ability to demonstrate dance movements and techniques effectively

Duties:

- Plan and deliver dance lessons to students of various ages and skill levels

- Create a safe and inclusive learning environment for students

- Develop and implement lesson plans that align with curriculum objectives

- Provide constructive feedback and guidance to students to help them improve their skills

- Choreograph dance routines for performances, competitions and recitals

- Collaborate with other dance instructors and staff members to coordinate events and performances

- Stay updated on current trends, techniques, and styles in the dance industry

-Please note that this position will require evening and weekend availability to accommodate class schedules and performances.
