Job Summary Barings is seeking a seasoned Bank Loan Services professional to work in our Loan Administration and Specialty Operations team. This position will be located in our Charlotte, NC office and reports to the Director of US Data Management. Primary Responsibilities This position is responsible for administration and servicing of managed assets (primarily bank loans and similar products), including but not limited to: Support and monitoring of cash and collateral accounts for which Barings serves as Administrative Agent Coordination of information flow between internal Barings processes and third-party service providers. Pro-active management of client and lender notifications, insuring accurate and timely delivery of information Preparation, processing and distribution of invoices for fees and receivables Accurate reconciliation of accounts to insure movement and availability of funds in an acceptable time-frame Support the set-up and processing of distressed debt restructure transactions Comfortable reviewing and interpreting bank loan related legal documentation to insure proper set-up and maintenance of serviced assets Experience with rating agency terminology Qualifications 4 years’ experience in loan administration and servicing, preferably in Agency Services Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree required Ability to multi-task and handle shifting priorities Excellent attention to detail Strong verbal and written communication skills Can-do attitude; resilient with the ability to remain calm when under pressure Takes ownership and responsibility for tasks Highly organized Demonstrated initiative in solving internal and external customer problems #LI-JS1 Barings is an Equal Employment Opportunity employer; Minority/Female/Age/Sexual Orientation/Gender Identity/Individual with Disability/Protected Veteran.
