Part Time Overnight Pet Sitter

We are hiring animal lovers for an overnight petsitting position!

THIS IS AN OVERNIGHT ONLY POSITION, no day shifts are required however it is possible for you to pick up a few visits throughout if day if desired.

We are currently looking for an overnight petsitter to add to our team! We are a close team of about 12 ladies at the moment and would love to add another!

***Hours would be between 7pm-7am or 8pm-8am, about 4 active hours with the pets and then sleeping with them the rest! ***

Here’s a little example of how our clients schedule overnights to give you an idea!

Our overnights are 7pm-7am or 8pm-8am, this is where you would sleep over in the clients home and take care of the animals!

I typically try to assign the same pet sitter to all overnights for one client so the pets don’t get overwhelmed! This could be 2-3 nights at a time or 7-8 just depending on the schedule!

This would include but not limited to feeding, playing, walking, cleaning up after, medicating animals. As well as mail collection, light housework to clean up after yourself, putting trash out on designated days etc!

You would be a great fit for this position if:

-You are a trustworthy individual with high integrity and a love for animals!

-You are 21 years or older

-You have consistent, reliable transportation

-You have a smart phone with ability to text, take pictures and access our scheduling app

-You live in or around Greenville (this is where most of our clients are so any surrounding areas should be fine!)

-You are willing to drive in a 15 mile radius of Greenville (would include some of Greer, Taylors, Easley, Mauldin, Simpsonville)*

-You have experience with animals whether this be as a petsitter, kennel tech, vet assistant/tech, groomer/grooming assistant etc!

-You are available for overnights the majority of the summer except vacation of course, but availability 4th of July week is a major plus!

-You are available on most weekends for overnights and have plenty of overnight time available this summer as it’s our busiest season.

-You are available during holidays (we don’t expect every holiday and can work around some family events but 3 of the 4 major holidays each year are required and a motivation to help out the team and spend time with our amazing furry clients is a must!)

-You are able to pass a background check

-You are able to work on your own with minimal supervision

Extra Info:

*Flexible schedule- We try to be very reasonable with scheduling and try our best not to overwork team members. However, we do expect a motivation to help the team and want to help out when needed.

While it is flexible it is required that the majority of the summer be open for overnights except a couple weeks here and there for vacations as this is our busiest season

*Driving within a 15 mile radius- Again were reasonable and try not to have people driving from Taylor’s to easley every visit back and forth and we do our best to schedule visits according to proximity so the majority of your time is spent doing visits and not driving
