Force and Motion Control – Industrial, seeks a talented self-driven and high energy individual to serve as a Warehouse Supervisor for the Maumee OH location. As a member of the operations leadership team, the Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for supporting all scheduling, warehousing and/ assembly activities within the assigned area. The individual will oversee personnel, quality, safety, inventory and environmental requirements for their assigned area. This role may be required to oversee other the areas of the distribution center in cases of vacancies. Core Responsibilities:
- Completes production plan by assigning personnel, establishing priorities, monitoring progress, resolving problems, and reporting results.
- Responsible for training new and existing employees and updating the training matrix.
- Identifying, developing and standardizing work instructions
- Responsible for driving accountability to following work instructions, policies and procedures
- Interface with other departments to address quality and process issues.
- Maintains safe and clean work environment by educating and directing personnel on the use of all control points equipment and resources; maintaining compliance with established policies and procedures.
- Recommend alternate solutions to improve quality and operational efficiencies using BES tools.
- Maintain, report, and drive improvements in relevant metrics and key performance indicators
- Understand and ensure customer specific requirements, as related to your function, are met.
- Coaching and developing team members
- Managing payroll, vacations, issues and corrective actions for team members
- Driving continuous improvement projects including but not limited to projects that improve quality, increase ergonomics and productivity
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor

Qualifications
- A minimum of 3 years of progressive warehouse and/or assembly experience
- Prior experience leading a team in a team leader, group leader and/or supervisor capacity
- Working knowledge of Quality Inspection
- Extensive knowledge and experience with continuous improvement and lean manufacturing.
- Experience with Production Planning preferred
- Knowledge and/or experience with OSHA preferred.
- Experience in distribution and/or metalworking industries preferred
Education Requirements:
- High School Education minimum, Associates degree preferred.
- Equivalent experience in lieu of associates degree accepted.
