Job description
The injection Molding Assembler is part of the production team. You are responsible for the proper assembly, labeling, and packing of molded product. You are required to follow all company-instituted safety and procedural guidelines at all times during your work hours.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assembles assigned product parts in accordance with verbal instructions
- Uses hand tools to carry out fitting and assembly operations
- Wears personal protective equipment (cotton gloves, Kevlar gloves, hearing protection, eye protection, etc) in accordance with company training guidelines
- Performs spot checks of products to ensure quality standards
- Notifies shift supervisor of product discrepancies or equipment malfunctions
- Stacks product to prepare for packing and shipment
- Adheres to established company policies and procedures, paying special attention to safety regulations
- Enter data into electronic information systems via touch screen interface
- General housekeeping of the production areas between meal periods
- Assist with training new employees as part of the buddy program
- Assist floor personnel as needed
QUALIFICATIONS
- Ability to read, speak, and understand English
- Reliability and good attendance is imperative
- Ability to work from written and verbal instructions

- Ability to lift up to 35 lbs
- Time management
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work as a team and maintain good working relationships with co-workers
WORKING CONDITIONS
- Standing and/or sitting for prolonged periods of time
- Frequent lifting of between 10lbs and 30lbs
- Occasional lifting up to 40lbs
- Frequent reaching and stretching
- Repetitive motion for prolonged periods of time is likely
- Cement flooring
- Moderate to loud noise level
- Fast paced environment
- Required to work with/around rubber, latex, and/or silicone during normal job duties
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.50 per hour
Schedule:
- 12 hour shift
