Position Description

The Associate, Capital Markets position is a key role that collaborates with and supports the

Director, Investor Relations, and the rest of the team. The candidate will meet with high net

worth investors to educate, guide, and help them understand BAM Capital’s unique and best in

class strategy. They will work through a sales pipeline ensuring existing and new investors are

communicated with, the relationship is supported and ultimately secure new investment with

BAM Capital.


Essential Job Functions:

Build trust and establish relationships by regularly meeting (in-person, via zoom, and by phone)

with new and existing investors.

Guide and educate new and existing investors through a pipeline process that ultimately leads

to investment in BAM Real Estate investment offerings.

Adhere to the SEC regulations, maintain confidentiality, work with IR and CRM systems.

Assists in the data collection, analysis, writing and editing, and production of publications and

electronic media used in the IR program

Assists with annual, general, and special investor meetings and coordinates and manages

investor events

Other duties as assigned

Experience, Skills, and Knowledge:

2 years of experience in investor relations, finance, marketing, planning and development,

account management, or communication positions

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Communications, PR, or Real Estate highly preferred; high

school diploma or GED required

4 years of experience in a direct, retail sales environment where rejection was common.

Literate in the real estate investment industry and have a hunger to know more.

Work Environment:

This job operates in a professional office environment, in person. This role routinely uses

standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and filing cabinets.

duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and/or hear. The employee

frequently is required to stand, walk, use hands and fingers to handle or feel, and reach with

hands and arms. The employee must occasionally lift or move office products and supplies, up

to 20 pounds.


Travel

Occasional travel may be required for investor events.
