SUMMARY:
The Project Manager , reporting to the Director, Project Management Office (PMO), leads multidisciplinary project teams, providing direction, drive, and coordination of both regional and enterprise-initiated projects. Projects may range from onboarding new customers to operations process improvement projects.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

EDUCATION:
College-level education in Project Management, Business Administration, Supply Chain, or other relevant area or 8 years of equivalent work experience required.
PMP or similar certification preferred
Lean Six Sigma certification preferred
EXPERIENCE:
3 to 5 years work experience in the 3rd party logistics (3PL) sector and/or warehousing industries
1 to 3 years experience successfully managing operations projects from conception through implementation, including work planning, estimating/budgeting, resource planning, risk assessment, expectation management, scope, and issue management
Advanced problem solving, analysis and troubleshooting skills to proactively identify potential problem areas early in the process; develop creative strategies to overcome obstacles
Working knowledge of Windows applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project)
Strategic and innovative mindset, with the desire to act quickly, think critically, challenge the status quo, create innovative solutions, and drive transformation.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to translate complex concepts into terms and format appropriate for the audience.
Must demonstrate high level of interpersonal skills with ability to work well under pressure and problem solve across a variety of business processes
Able to balance competing priorities, complex situations, and tight deadlines. Strong emphasis on organizational skills and attention to detail.
