Barrett Petfood is a family owned and operated premium pet food manufacturer. We are currently hiring for a Dryer Operator. This position operates the dryers used in Petfood Production. Job Duties:
- Day-to-day operation of the Dryer
- Blowing down the dryer
- Change the screener on the dryer
- Testing product during production to ensure it meets specifications
- Able to use computer and software programs used to troubleshoot, control settings on equipment, and for documentation
- Clean under and around conveyors, dryer, and other plant machinery and workspaces
- Cean, Set up, and calibrate equipment
Job Requirements:
- Follow GMP’s and safety protocols
- Great trouble-shooting skills
- Computer literate
- Team effort and communication
- Willing and able to stand for long periods of time
- Attention to detail
- Desire to clean is a must
- Mechanically inclined
- Must be reliable
Hours:
1st Shift: 6:00 am - 2:30 pm
Monday - Friday
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $19.00 per hour
