HUMAN RESOURCES COORDINATOR
This is a non-supervisory full-time position. The Human Resources Coordinator is accountable for the safety, quality, and efficiency of their work. The Human Resources Coordinator reports directly to the Human Resources Manager.
ABOUT THE COMPANY
Barricades Unlimited is a Traffic Control company with 8 locations around the State of Texas. Currently, there are approximately 175 employees across the State that you will be responsible to ensure all HR needs are being met. When you drive around and you see orange cones, barrels, construction signs, big orange pickups and giant trucks with flashing lights, you are likely seeing one of our fleet of hundreds of vehicles. EDUCATION
Required: Bachelor's Degree in Management or Business or minimum 4 years experience in a Human Resources role
LICENSING / REGISTRATION / CERTIFICATION
Required: Valid Texas Driver’s License
SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND ABILITIES
PHYSICAL
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by the employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
BODY POSITIONS: Must have the ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time while performing job functions. Must be able to walk distances within the multiple buildings within the complex. Must be able to spend many hours performing your tasks on a computer
BODY MOVEMENTS: The employee must have a full range of body movements including the use of his/her hands to finger, handle plant equipment and tools, laptop, PC’s and other peripheral equipment. The ability to bend the body, to reach for objects, and to crouch when needed is also required.
BODY SENSES: The employee must have command of the following senses: sight, hearing, and touch.
STRENGTH: The employee must have the ability to lift 25 pounds with regularity.
WORKING CONDITIONS
This position requires the employee to work indoors in a smoke-free, climate-controlled environment.
AUTHORITY
The Human Resources Coordinator is authorized to take any reasonable action necessary to carry out the responsibilities assigned approved or delegated by the Human Resources Manager. Such authority may include:
Report any abuse of the Company’s policies and procedures to Supervisor or other members of Management.
Authority to enforce the Company’s Safety Policies, and authority to fulfill all responsibilities turn over to you.
