The successful candidate is responsible for b eing a team player adding to our already, diverse, yet rewarding working environment. The ideal candidate will possess a background in underground mining, and metals.

About The Team
Nevada Gold Mines (NGM) is a joint venture between Barrick (61.5%) and Newmont (38.5%) that combined our significant assets across Nevada in 2019 to create the single largest gold-producing complex in the world. NGM produces approximately 3.5 million ounces of gold a year. The massive mining operation comprises eight mines along with their associated infrastructure and processing facilities and hosts three of Barrick’s Tier One assets: Carlin, Cortez, and Turquoise Ridge. Responsibilities
- Safely and effectively operator mining equipment
- Be expected to work in a safe and efficient manner
- Perform other duties as assigned
- 3 years of underground mining experience preferred
- Prior underground and/or equipment operation experience required
- Excellent safety, attendance and work records required
- Demonstrate initiative as a team member in a growing, fast-paced environment required
- Ability to communicate with all Mine Operations personnel required
- Ability to work with minimal supervision required
- Previous haul truck driver or equipment operation experience preferred
- The ability to work a rotating schedule of nights and days is an essential function of this role.
