Description :
Nevada Gold Mines is looking for an Open Pit Driller to join our Goldstrike Operations team.
Responsibilities :
Reporting to the Open Pit Drill & Blast Supervisor, the Open Pit Driller is responsible for the following :
- Ensure drill area is properly cleaned before drilling and maintain an awareness of what is happening in work area - other traffic, machinery and plant, individuals
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications :
- Previous Surface Drilling / Blasting experience preferred
- Valid Nevada drivers’ license required
- Heavy equipment operating experience preferred
- Ability to carry at least 50 pounds required
- Excellent verbal, written, and radio communication skills required
- Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team required
The ability to work a rotating schedule of nights and days is an essential function of this role.
