Year-Round Work - Damper Repair Technician - $60 / day Per Diem!!
Remedi8 is hiring a Damper Repair Technician to perform inspections, repairs and installations on a variety of firestop systems within existing hospitals nationwide.
This position is full-time, year-round work, and must be willing to travel.
Experience :
- 1 year of experience working with basic tools
- Plus, but not required, previous construction, painting, finish carpentry, caulking, insulation, and drywall finish work
Preferred Skills :
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Understanding of computers and computer software (Microsoft Office)
- Experience in reading blueprints / schematics
- Knowledge of HVAC systems and their maintenance requirements
- Familiarity with electrical systems, including troubleshooting and repairs
- Training in safety protocols (Osha 10)
Essential Functions / Responsibilities :
- Inspect firestop barriers per NFPA requirements and document inspection results using a tablet
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on facility equipment and systems, including electrical, HVAC, and plumbing
- Installing access doors in ductwork & hanging drywall
Requirements :
- Covid Vaccinated is not mandatory but Preferred
- Submit a TB test, vaccination blood tests & vaccinations (Flu, MMR, Varicella, etc.)
- Valid Drivers License and be eligible to rent a vehicle (21 years old)
- Must be able to travel nationwide on a 10 day on, 4 day off rotation
