The Operator 1, Pailing position is responsible for preparing and arranging materials and products in bulk and retail form for transfer to warehouse and distribution to customers.
- Observe all safety, sanitation, GMP and HACCP requirements
- Verify quality checks with metal detector, date code verification and case check weight verification
- Run equipment; Pailing Packaging, Metal detectors, Palletizer, drumming and packaging
- Clean machines, floors and make sure Machine and area is organized
- Train with Level 2 Operators on equipment and area set up
- High school diploma or GED
- Good communication skills both verbally and written
- Math skills
- One (1) year manufacturing experience, a plus
- Fork Lift and/or Handcart certification, a plus
- Ability to stand on concrete floor for long periods of time
- Bend, squat, stretch, reach; frequently
- Ability to climb stairs, often
- Must be able to lift minimum of 50lbs, often
- Comfortable working at heights
- Must be able to work in a variety of weather conditions and temperatures in the facility
- Noise level can exceed .85 decibels
