Job Description: This is an onsite position with Afinitas at our Mediapolis, IA location ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES Assemble / Rout electrical systems from schematics Assemble machinery and routing of hydraulic and pneumatics Welding of structural components from blueprints Meet established production and quality standards Conform to all company attendance, safety, and personnel policies Able to operate forklifts, man-lifts, and other job-related equipment All other duties assigned QUALIFICATIONS 2 years technical education or 3 years’ experience Ability to read and understand electrical, hydraulics, pneumatic, and mechanical schematics Must possess good mechanical aptitude Read drawings and AWS weld symbols Must possess good mathematical skills Perform structural fabrication Have knowledge of overhead crane use and operation Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and adapt to shifting priorities Ability to work individually as well as in a team environment Ability to obtain and operate mobile equipment needed to perform essential functions WORK ENVIRONMENT Works in a plant/manufacturing environment that involves the use of industrial machinery and chemicals.
