Logistic coordinator

Description

As the Logistics Coordinator - Material Handler, you will pick and package parts, and ship these parts for outbound freight.

For this role, you will understand and follow directions, having the ability to multi-task to support the needs of the business by receiving inventory, building crates, and working with inventory management.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Functions) :

Processing International shipments, domestic shipments and picking, packing, and crating parts as needed.

Experienced with shipping notices, packing lists and assembly prints.

Maintain records of all items received and those being shipped out.

Perform external / internal warehouse transfers.

Unload incoming trucks as directed; inspect for damages; compare items and quantities received against freight bills.

Handle and properly disposal of hazardous and non-hazardous waste in accordance with local, state, and federal requirements (USA only).

Operate materials handling equipment such as forklift, pallet jacks, hand trucks or dollies to move stock or organize storage.

Participate in team meetings to communicate and help resolve any cost, quality, or production issues.

Communicate and interact with other team members effectively.

Maintain equipment and work area in a clean and orderly fashion.

Work in accordance with established safety procedures.

Work the On-Call / Support After hours for emergency services.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Education and Experience :

High school diploma or GED equivalent.

2 years of experience in material handling, inventory control, warehouse operations.

2 years of experience running multiple business systems on a daily basis.
