Job Posting for Freelance Photographer at Barstool Sports

Barstool Sports is looking for a Freelance Photographer to join our growing Production team. This position will be hired on a temporary basis to begin but has potential to be hired on a full time basis. The ideal candidate is someone who is familiar with the Barstool Sports brand, has exceptional communication skills, and is able to work cross-functionally with multiple departments across the company, including our Content teams. This position is onsite in our New York City office.

What You'll Do

  • Develop, organize and maintain a high res photo library
  • Retouch photos for sales pitches
  • Capture custom talent photos for partner pitches
  • Professional photos of Barstool Guests that come in for interviews
  • More variety of shots for talent, podcast studios and office life
  • On-site photographer for big tentpole events to highlight activations for partners
  • Capture any photography we would need for retail/OP POS or activations
  • On site photographer to capture merchandise on content during big content moments
  • Promotional photos for upcoming shows or events
  • Dedicated resource for any production shoot

What You Have

  • Minimum 3 years experience in studio & remote photography
  • Have access to high end still photography camera & lenses
  • Experience taking photos in live action environment
  • Must provide portfolio of varied photography work
  • Knowledge about Barstool Sports and our programming.
  • Organizational and collaborative skills, as well as an ability to prioritize, are a must.
  • Flexibility to travel for shoots and productions, as needed up to 50% of the time.
