Restaurant Overview

Bartleby is a supper club located in the former Crop space in downtown Cleveland. Bartleby will serve a modern American bistro menu curated by Partner and Chef Dante Boccuzzi.

What You Will Do

Enthusiastically engage with guests upon arrival and sincerely thank them for dining as they leave
Ability to adapt to meet the changing needs of the restaurant and its guests
Maintain a high-level of professionalism
Be considerate and willing to help out fellow teammates
Use critical thinking to handle difficult guest situations
Maintain proper phone etiquette and perform reservation call-backs
Manage reservations and walk-ins in the reservation system
Other tasks as assigned

What You Need to Bring to the Table

An excellent service attitude and willingness to go out of your way to accommodate guests
Experience using a reservation platform
Ability to excel and remain composed in high-pressure, high-intensity environments
Professional, articulate, friendly, and punctual
Possesses and exhibits the drive to provide exceptional service
Flexible hours are required (must be able to work days, nights, weekends, holidays)
Must be able to work at a rapid pace while maintaining attention to detail

This role requires the ability to move and lift up to 25 lbs. Standing, sitting, or walking for extended periods of time and ensuring a professional appearance in a clean uniform are also required.
