Bartlett LLP, a prominent civil defense law firm in the New York Tri-State area and Florida, is pleased to offer this opportunity to become part of our expanding Litigation, Trial, Excess Monitoring and Appellate teams in New York and Florida. We have opportunities for the right attorneys at all levels of experience in both regions.

Bartlett’s General Liability team assists, among others, commercial contractors, property owners/developers, municipalities, and transportation entities, as well as their insurers.

Bartlett’s Professional Liability practice is engaged on behalf of professionals in industries including healthcare, law, design and engineering.

We take considerable pride in mentorship and foster purposeful interaction with some of the most experienced and highly regarded attorneys in their respective practice areas. At the same time, we understand that we have as much to learn from our new members as we have to teach them. We encourage meaningful dialogue with our team members across all levels in discussions that will shape the firm’s direction and assist our further growth.

A successful candidate may have experience handling court appearances, motion practice, taking depositions, and handling all phases of litigation from pleadings through trials and appeals. Excellent writing skills and the ability to communicate concisely and persuasively are essential characteristics. Serious candidates will also possess a strong work ethic and be true team players genuinely interested in working in a supportive, collaborative environment.

Bartlett will accommodate flexible arrangements for qualified attorneys displaying the requisite degree of professionalism and integrity. Compensation is competitive and monthly incentive pay is awarded to performers.

Representative Available Positions in New York and Florida for both Health Care Liability Defense Attorneys and General Liability Defense Attorneys are as follows:

• Associate and all non-partner designations - newly admitted through 20( /-) years’ experience (Salary range: $85,000 to $195,000).
• Trial Level and Partner (Salary range: $160,000 to $250,000.) Note: Partner compensation commensurate with profitability of the partner’s practice, among other factors.
