Job Summary:

Under the general direction of the Information Systems (IS) Executive Director, the IS Project Manager manages multiple  projects ranging from medium complexity to full enterprise scope spanning all aspects of the hospital. Project management activities span from inception, planning, and delivery, to ensuring the stakeholder defined success criteria are met for specified solutions and services within the agreed time, scope, quality, and budget constraints. The IS Project Manager will develop project management processes, streamline requirements gathering and scoping exercises, and build key relationships with project stakeholders to encourage a project’s successful implementation.

Minimum Qualifications for the Job:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution with major coursework in computer science, information systems, business administration or a closely related field.
  • Substitution: Additional qualifying experience may be substituted for the required education on a year-for-year basis.
• Experience(s): Five (5) years of general IT/IS project management and managing teams, including remote/telework team members.
  • Note: Preferred candidate will have experience in Excel, MS Project, or other project management tools, ITSM/ITIL, report writing, and data analytics (Crystal Reports, SSRS, Power BI). 
• Certification(s): Certification in project management (e.g., APM, PRINCE2) is preferred.

Internal Hires: Pay rate will be determined based on applicable personnel rule or union contract terms.
