What do we do here at Barton Healthcare Staffing? We work with nurses and allied health professionals to place them on short- and long-term job assignments at healthcare facilities across the U.S. that are in need of temporary coverage.
As one of our Recruiting Consultants, you will grow and develop a portfolio of nurses and allied health professionals and work with our team of staffing experts to place them on their next assignment. Think of it like an agent, building their book of clients by networking the marketplace and selling BHS’s services. When a successful ‘match’ is made between a clinician and a healthcare facility, both sides of our sales team win!
Responsibilities
- Call in to the marketplace and identify traveling nurses and allied health professionals who do or plan to work traveling contract assignments in order to build your portfolio
- Conduct comprehensive interviews with the clinicians you recruit in order to gain an understanding of their skill-sets, wants and needs pertaining to assignments
- Establish rapport, network with and develop strong professional relationships with the clinicians in your database
- Present your clinicians with job opportunities at BHS’s clients
- Provide high-quality customer service to ensure all assignments are running smoothly
