Housekeeper

Attention to detail, organizational skills, and good work ethic required, ability to work diligently without supervision. Assigned to same three residential homes and two offices in Bridgeville-Seaford each week.

Housekeeper Duties to include:

• Generally keep the homes / offices overall clean and organized
• Maintain all cleaning equipment and supplies.
• Perform general sweeping, scrubbing, mopping of hardwood and tile floors
• Vacuum and cleans carpets / performs carpet treatments such as shampoo or stain-removal as needed
• Organize and keep clean all cabinets, closets, and drawers.
• Disposal of trash from bins.
• Dust and polish furniture and room accessories as needed
• Scrub sinks, basins, bathtubs, showers, and toilets.
• Wash dishes or use a dishwasher as needed.
• Change linens, and gather used linens such as sheets or towels for laundering
• Wash, dry, fold, and put away family clothing as needed.
• Keep front, side, and back entrances clean and tidy.
• Clean windows, glass surfaces, mirrors, and counters as needed
• Keep all public spaces neat and tidy
• Report repairs and replacements needed when encountered on the job.

Housekeeper Requirements and Qualifications:

• Physically able to perform all assigned duties during work hours
• Ability to lift up to 25 to 30 pounds
• Physically able to reach, stretch, bend, and walk during the daily routine, with the ability to stand for long lengths of time as needed
• Previous experience cleaning preferred
• Attention to detail when cleaning
• Organized and able to follow a schedule
• Able to follow verbal directions and written cleaning schedule/instructions

Experience:

• Housekeeping: 1 year (Preferred) or
• hotel housekeeping: 1 year (Preferred)

Pay and Details:

• Job Type: Full-time, M-F with a flexible daytime schedule.
• No nights or weekends required.
• Paid leave to include - seven paid holidays, five paid sick days, five paid PTO days after probationary period.
• Paid weekly
