Position Overview:
Under the general supervision of program management, the candidate will be responsible for the core operations of the expanded learning program, focusing on overseeing the enrichment program and leading a team of program instructors. Additionally, they will collaborate closely with directors to co-create lesson plans and guide students through enrichment course content at a ratio of 20 students to 1 instructor, 10 students to 1 instructor for TK/Kinder.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the enrichment program and manage a team of program instructors
- Collaborate with directors to co-create lesson plans and lead students in enrichment course content at a ratio of 20:1/10:1
- Manage program operations including record-keeping, attendance, and scheduling
- Engage in effective communication and collaboration with program executives and school personnel
- Demonstrate adaptability and strong multitasking abilities while working under pressure
- Provide support to management by joining committees, working with the school day and supporting expanded opportunities
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree (in progress or obtained)
- Previous experience working with school-aged students

General Description:
BASE Programs operates on elementary school campuses, offering quality enrichment opportunities to elementary-aged students during non-school hours. With a curriculum focusing on STEM, Visual & Performing Arts, and Physical Education, we collaborate with Oceanside Unified and Fallbrook Unified to provide expanded learning programs at elementary schools in Oceanside and Camp Pendleton.
Upon Hire:
- Obtain First Aid/CPR Certification
- Complete LiveScan background clearance
- Complete mandated reporter training
