Who You Are:

This position will be remote but you will be working closely with the team in the United States through video chat, instant messaging, e-mail, phone, and through our software. It is essential that you have excellent communication skills in English, both written and oral. We are a fast-paced company expanding rapidly, and we are seeking team members who will share our vision for the future and work collaboratively to accomplish Base8's goals. We pride ourselves on providing superior service to our clients, which includes attention to detail, following the processes in place, and being able to adapt to various situations.

Responsibilities:

• Working closely with Procurement Manager
• Evaluates supplier proposal responses
• To support bid preparation and proposal documentation.
• Ensure that we are placing orders at the lowest ultimate cost
• Provide the team with accurate updates
• Working with managers/senior managers to assist with improvements and streamlining of processes to reduce costs
• Building a strong rapport with existing suppliers to help facilitate a cohesive working relationship.
• Keeping up to date on all open orders. Sending daily back order reports to the relevant departments.
• Ability to interpret and analyze data

Required Qualifications

• 3-4 years of experience in a similar role
• Degree level education
• Exceptional attention to detail, even under pressure to meet tight deadlines
• Experience within a Procurement environment - ideally IT Industry
• Able to use CRM systems and Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel
• Great interpersonal skills with an ability to communicate effectively at all levels
• Ambitious with a desire to learn and grow
