Retail Manager

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Retail Manager to oversee our store operations. The Retail Manager will be responsible for managing staff, ensuring excellent customer service, and maximizing sales and profitability.

Responsibilities:

• Organize all store operations and allocate responsibilities to personnel
• Supervise and guide staff towards maximum performance
• Prepare and control the store’s budget aiming for minimum expenditure and efficiency
• Monitor stock levels and purchases and ensure they stay within budget
• Deal with complaints from customers to maintain the store’s reputation
• Inspect the areas in the store and resolve any issues that might arise
• Plan and oversee in-store promotional events or displays
• Keep abreast of market trends to determine the need for improvements in the store
• Analyze sales and revenue reports and make forecasts
• Ensure the store fulfills all safety guidelines
• Contributes to a positive work environment.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Retail Manager or similar role in the retail industry
• Strong knowledge of retail operations, including inventory management, merchandising techniques, and customer service principles
• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
• Proficient in using POS systems and conducting retail math calculations
• Familiarity with inventory control procedures and best practices
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
• Exceptional communication skills in order to effectively interact with customers, staff, and management
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail

Hours:

• Thursday to Sunday, 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM, flexible as needed

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $40,000.00 per year
