Description
POSITION SUMMARY
The Electrician makes sure all pre-sold electrical work is done correctly and safely for our production team to be able to complete waterproofing installations. Speaks to the homeowner about the work that will take place while ensuring our customers have a remarkable experience.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Drives to customers’ homes on pre-scheduled appointments. (Service most of Central Indiana)
- Builds professional rapport with customer and determines their desired outcomes.
- Carefully examines the customer’s home to provide an accurate and sale electrical installs.
- When needed sell customers additional electrical solutions.
- Communicate effectively with the foreman and crew members.
- Perform light construction duties as needed.
- Willingness to work outside the scope of work when needed.
- Ensure work van has everything needed to complete the job.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
- 5 years of verifiable residential electrician experience.
- Knowledge of construction principles and practices preferred.
- Skill in operating a personal computer and programs.
- Ability to detect/recognize information in written materials or on a computer/tablet/phone screen up to 75% of the time.
- Ability to understand, speak, read, and write in English, including strong presentation skills.
- Ability to exert up to 20 lb. of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to move objects.
- Team oriented.
- Ability to move about and move to/from and work from the floor level, attic or in crawl spaces.
- A valid driver’s license, a safe driving record, and the ability to drive for the company.
