BASF Total Petrochemicals is a world scale petrochemicals facility and acts through continuous collaborative partnerships with our Joint Venture partner and our customers. The Port Arthur site is a world scale mixed feed cracker, with associated world scale Benzene, Toluene, Butadiene, Alkylate and Olefins conversion facilities.
We are seeking a highly motivated individual like yourself to have responsibility of maintaining, developing, and coordination of compliance-based documentation for the BASF/TOTAL Petrochemicals (BTP) Operations group. You will be responsible for collaborating with the Operations team to meet strategic objectives that help ensure compliance adherence. This is a day position (9/80 work schedule); may work alternate schedules as business conditions dictate.
As an Operations Compliance Coordinator, you create chemistry by…
- Being responsible for managing and maintaining Operations based procedures to ensure reviews and corrections are up to date.
- Creating, training, tracking, and sending notifications of key metrics which support compliance related activities for the Operations group.
- Scheduling meetings with key stakeholders for review and action plan creation.
- Providing operations specific coordination, preparations, and maintaining documentations between internal audits.
- Following-up, track and ensuring timely closeout of Operations EHS related action items (incidents, audits, suggestions, etc.)
If you...
- Possess at least 8 years of experience in developing documentation strategies to maintain an “Audit Ready” philosophy.
- Have experience with “Documentum” or any other Procedure Management tool.
- Your proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook) will aid you in maintaining documents.
- Are willing to develop presentations and training sessions on a frequency which enhances the knowledge and support of key stakeholders in Operations.
- If you have a solid understanding of Operations and EHS processes and can work in partnership with teams on creating, training, tracking, and sending notifications.
